Fennec Electrical
Electricians in Whitchurch and the villages around it. A small electrical firm doing EV chargers, rewires, fuse boards and fault finding. The site brings in enquiries, shows the Google reviews as they arrive, and every page can be changed from the WordPress editor.

The photography
We shot the photos as well as building the site: an EV charger going onto a brick wall, a consumer unit under test, the tool bag on the driveway, and the electrician at work in his Fennec shirt.
They sit on every service card, in the page headers and behind the headline on the home page, so the site shows the actual work rather than stock pictures.
What the site does
- A block theme and a plugin written for the site: hero, services, job sheet, reviews, questions, coverage, gallery, contact form and announcement bar, all edited in the block editor
- Services, questions, emails, search settings and announcements each have their own screen in the WordPress dashboard
- Google reviews fetched from the Places API and cached for twelve hours, with review, business and FAQ structured data on the page
- An enquiry form with photo uploads and a Turnstile check. The office gets the details and the customer gets a thank-you email, both editable
- An announcement bar the owner can switch on for holidays or availability: static, one message at a time, or a ticker
- Live chat through Tawk, a cookie banner, and a team intranet on Koloshare
